Not sure what to say?

I am sad to hear that Ed passed away. I had not seen him recently but had dozens of cases with him over the years. He was always a professional and a gentleman. He will be missed. I send my sympathy to his family.

Judge Suzanne Upton, Hillsboro, Oregon

I was so sad to hear of Ed's passing. I met Ed three years ago when I started working at the Washington County Law Library. He always stopped to chat and share his poems.
He was one of my favorite people and I will miss him terribly.

Ed and Peter at Seaside in the early 1060's

So sorry to here of Ed's passing. Ed was a close friend of my father and mother (Peter and Jo Ann Cornell) when we were growing up in Portland during the early '60s. I have many great memories of Ed at our house on Lincoln Court and our numerous trips to Seaside and Cannon Beach. Peter passed away in early January of this year. I am thankful for having had the opportunity to speak with Ed shortly after my father's passing. He and my father remained close over the years and I always enjoy...

I met Ed several years ago when i hired him to defend me. My case took two years to get to trial so i got to know him fairly well. He was such a beautiful person. We developed a friendship after we won my case and i would keep in contact with him. He sent poems in with the monthly billings that were so special. He was an incredibly special friend of mine. I cried when i called his office looking for a referral recently and his wife told me he passed. I was incredibly sad and cried half...

Ed Strand was one of the kindest, most caring and friendly people that I have ever known. He made every feel special. I am saddened to hear of his passing but feel comfort in knowing that Heaven has a new Angel.
Rest In Peace my dear friend

I met Ed when I was young teen. He had a wonderful, long life. He shared office space with my dad for years, until my father passed. He was the nicest, hardest working man. He called often to discuss legal theories and cases. He always lent me an ear when I needed one. If I needed assistance, we was there. I tried my first big case with Ed in Washington County. He was such a positive person, with never a bad word to say about anyone. He was a wonderful mentor and friend. You are dearly missed...

Ed was a class act in the courts, always with a cheerful word and a smile. I am sad to hear that he passed away recently. Ed went out of his way to let me know that he had known my Dad, who passed away in 1996. He was a thoughtful and cheerful guy and he will be missed.

I worked with Ed Strand for many years at the McCaffrey law office. He was not only a great criminal lawyer, but he was one of the nicest people you could every meet. He called me often to discuss personal injury cases, and just to say hi. He sent me some wonderful stories and poems he had written last year. Thank you Ed for being one of the finest people I will ever know.

Very sorry to hear that Ed is gone. He was a great guy. Kind man and always a pleasure to talk to. I would see him in court or at the ELKs when he was still working out there. Just a very nice man. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
