Not sure what to say?

I met "Stu" back in 1997 when he was a trainer at Gold's Gym in Whippany. His caring personality really helped to motivate me and he always went out of his way to stop and chat whenever he saw me. We became friends and shared similar interests. We were both big U2 fans. Throughout the years, we would run into each-other and I was always so happy to see him. Hearing about his death has left terrible sadness and disbelief. I will truly miss seeing him and extend my thoughts and prayers to his...

May God Bless You and Your Family Eddie.

I remember Eddie from grammer school at St. Al's and as an alterboy with him as being a fun guy who loved life. I consider myself fortunate to have gotten a chance to see him again at our class reunion and reconnect, even if just for that moment in time. He was still the fun loving person that I remember as a child. My prayers go out to him and his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Words can not describe my sorrow at the loss of one of the world's nicest people. Eddie Stu was a gentle giant, and always made me happy when I saw and talked to him. I'll miss him so much, but he'll remain alive in my memories for the rest of my life.

I'll miss you buddy!

Eddie will always remain in my heart as the tall, smiling, mischievous boy with the dazzling
blue eyes, that gave me my first kiss, in a stairwell at St. Al’s. In his absence, we will be missing him...his enthusiasm and wonderful sense of humor.
We were lucky to know him.

I heard of Eddie's passing and it's so hard to believe. I got to know Eddie again breifly at our St. Aloysius Class Reunion. He Had that same happy personality that he did then. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I went to school with Ed (Eddie) at St. Aloysius in Caldwell for nine years.
I am so sorry to hear that this has happened and my condolences and prayers go out to his family.
Eddie was smiling, upbeat, and always kind to everyone. At an age when children can sometimes be cruel, he never was. I've always remembered that. Sure he liked to joke and tease on occasion, but it was always done in a way that you knew he was only being your friend.
He was a great guy and will be...

words can not describe my sorrow today at the loss of my friend "stu". i know that my grief does not match that of his family and i weep with them because he is gone from our lives. he was one of the sweetest, nicest, silliest, gentle "teddy bears" i know and i will miss him terribly. i send my love and support to his family....lisa tafro (or as stu always called me...LT)

Stu was a very kind and thoughtful man. A gentle soul who will be missed very much. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time of great sorrow.
