Sincerest condolences for the loss of your father. I was the "St" and he was the "ed" in the "Stedno Trio", three of us male accordionists shown (I'm next to him) in the attached 1953 photo of the "Accordionaires". We all studied at Bill Harry's and had a terrific time in the early 1950s. I enjoyed being with Ed a lot, and visited him in Holyoke about ten years ago.
