Not sure what to say?

To the Sutton Family,
Like many of us, we will dearly miss Big Ed. He has touched many lives and will forever be remembered for his sweet, charming and inspiring ways. May God bless you and allow healing as we share your loss of his presence. Dr. Sutton's philosophy will be enduring as he has given to all who has met him, I being one of those fortunate to know him. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort

Dear Sharon,Christopher,Coleman and families,
I am so saddened by the news of Ed's passing. I have the fondest memories of time shared in Lake Tahoe skiing together, and of time enjoyed in your home. Ed was certainly bigger than life and he savored every aspect of his too short existence. Although he loved his football, his love for his family was apparent in the numerous letters and articles he sent us extolling the honors and achievements of the whole family. May each of you be blessed...

I always had seats next to Ed for "The Cal Bowl", and looked forward every year of going to his
" football parties", whether it was a lopsided game, or raining or foggy, Ed made certain ALL of us would not leave until the final whistle had blown!

For my friend Ed, " GO FUSKIES"!

Dear Sharon, Coleman and Chris!
We are so very sorry to hear of the passing of Dr. Sutton -- he was a very special person to many, many people. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Lovingly, Jim and Rachel Davison, Madera (Fresno), CA

Sharon, Chris & Coleman,
How do I begin to tell you how sorry I am about Dr. Sutton? He was so special to me, as he was for you. I was soooo lucky to have known him! I will miss all the long talks we had about his book. He was always there to help with advice for Derek & Blake. A day won't go by when I won't be thinking about what a wonderful, caring, thoughtful, generous person he was.
My sympathy's:

Dear Sharon
I am Frank Ross's sister, Sarah , who lives in Raleigh NC. Frank just told me the news and I was saddened to hear of not only your loss but the loss of a great human being. I remember meeting your husband at Frank's when we visited many years ago and was entertained for hours I know like everyone else my brother will feel a void with the loss of a dear friend.
I just wanted to send my condolences from North Carolina like so many others I'm sure.

Sarah Ross Reeke

The Primavera Family (Ron, Jan, Michael and Stephen)

Dear Sharon,
When I was in my second year of medical school, I needed to buy my first car for an out of town medical rotation. I was a penniless student and Ed lent me $2500 to do just that. I finally paid him off when I began working, years later. I try to remember that generosity whenever I'm in a position to help someone starting out. What a class act he was! My thoughts to you and your family. Sylvia Sutton Hendrix

Dear Sharon and family,
It's been 18 years since I worked for Dr. Sutton. His Christmas letters certainly kept me up to date on your family. We all can look forward to his book when it is published. Your loss will be felt by many. Thinking of you.
