I send my deepest condolences to you and your family. Although I have never met your Dad, just from reading the following messages he appeared to have left a lasting memory in everyone hearts and minds. I particular like the fact that he had such a sense of humor that make everyone feel loved and welcomed. I only wish I could have met Ed!
Your Dad has raised a very strong family and I know you will survive, take comfort in the fact that he will be with you now more than ever!

My parents informed me of Mr. Sweeney passing away. I have terrific fond memories of him when I was young, teasing us children with his hugs and "electric kiss".
He was a great friend to my Mom and Dad. I have also many fun scouting memories of him.
I know the Lord has him in His arms.

Mrs. Sweeney and family,
My deepest sympathy on the loss of Mr. Sweeney. I have very fond memories while working for my dad and having Mr. Sweeney keeping the humor going. Although it was years ago, I can clearly remember him visiting me while I was filing piles of files (and not being particularly fond of the task).
