Not sure what to say?

My sincere condolences to Ed's family. I was privileged and honored to participate as a member of the Trust Department from 1958 to 1962 under his leadership in Administration. I remember him fondly as a gentleman who was always ready to lend an ear and support. Even after I left to further my own ambitions I always thought of him and his dear wife Marie who were always so kind to me and my wife, Anita.
The world is poorer for his loss.
Sincerely,
Anita and Peter A. Isaia

For those of us lucky enough to know Ed and Marie Swenson, they were special friends indeed, both at work and at play. For the Miami community they were a blessing. A word I heard more than once out of Ed's mouth was "excellence." It was both for him and for Marie almost a mantra, surely a goal. And they did not swerve from it.

My deepest sympathy to Mr. Swenson's family. I was very fortunate to know him as a friend. Marilyn Garbett, my friend, introduced us and I was honored to meet and know this lovely, genuine man.

My sincerest condolences to the family. I had the privilege of getting to know Ed during my tenure at First National/Southeast and developed great professional respect for him as well as genuine fondness for him as a person and, because of this, stayed in touch with him over the years principally through Christmas cards or an occasional call to which he always warmly responded.

I feel so honored to have interacted with Ed and Marie in various times of my life. I remember meeting the Swensons through my parents when I was quite young and then about 18 years ago, being honored to serve with Ed on the board of Planned Parenthood of Greater Miami, having lunch every now and then to discuss the agency and what drove us to support it. He was one of those grand people in life who you just don't forget - community-minded, generous, suave, sophisticated, bright, dapper and...

Iwas so sorry to read of Ed's recent death. I first met Ed when I was employed as a tax accountant by Ring, Mahoney & Arner in 1968, when I was assigned to handle the account of Ed and Marie B. Swenson.Whwn I left the firm, then Coopers & Lybrand, to start my own C.P.A. practice in 1978, they continued to be clients of mine.Shortly before I retired in early 1998, they started using another accountant, During the almost thirty years of association, I met both his children and grandchildren...

I had the good fortune to work with Ed and Marie at Ransom. I also had the extreme pleasure to know Ed professionally. He was very wise, thoughtful and caring. He was a man to be admired. Our community is a much better place thanks to Ed and all that he gave to his adopted home.

So very sorry to learn of Mr. Swenson's passing. After receiving the Swenson Cup in 1968 at Everglades. Their love for Ransom-Everglades will long be remembered.

I am sorry for your loss. Please accept my deepest sympathies.
