Not sure what to say?

Uncle Ed was my step-Uncle. Although he wasn't a blood relative, and I didn't meet him until I was a teenager, I liked him from the start. Ed never arrived empty-handed, and often brought some sort of silly toy, stuffed animal or gag gift. He had a quiet humor and quick wit that was endearing. He was fun to be around and easy to talk to. Ed spoke fondly and often of his neighbors in California and here in Radisson, his close-knit group of classmates he kept in touch with, and his beloved...

I met Ed in the early 60's, as he was a friend of my cousin Al Moffatt who lived in Lafayette at the time. We had lots of fun listening to music & doing the twist! Luckily, Al has some old movies of those fun times. When he moved back here, I saw him often at Al's for holiday dinners & summer cook outs. It was nice that Al now lived in Village Green & Ed was close by in Radison. He was thoughtful and often brought little gifts for Al & I. We were expecting him for dinner this Thanksgiving...

We knew Ed when he lived in California. He was our next door neighbor for many years. We are very sad to read of his passing. He was a wonderful neighbor and we loved having him as our neighbor, talking to him about the stock market, and other news of the day. We were sad when he decided to move back to NY, but we continued to send him Christmas cards. Our entire family, me, my husband Neal, and my son Keith, all send our heartfelt condolences to Ed's family.

Sincerely,

Vivian...

Ed was a good neighbor with a big heart. Niki and I will miss him.
