Edward Synk

Ed made a memorable impression. I met him and Bert in the Lyndhurst Community Center. They were volunteer deliverers for the "green sheet" Tri-City Consortium's senior newsletter. That was the beginning of my relationship with the Synks which continued over the next 15-20 years. He was a leader citizen in the community.

As a member of the American Legion, I knew Ed and was saddened to hear of his passing. I will always remember how he and his wife Bertie made Legion excursions fun and entertaining. He will be missed. May the perpetual light shine upon him as he rests in peace.

To Alberta & the entire Synk family. I was so sorry to hear the news today. I met Ed through the Euclid Police Department, where he worked as an auxiliary officer for many years, and later became the Director of the unit. After his retirement, he often kept in touch with the unit coming to many of the dinners. He was truly loved by everyone and will be missed. Susan Carlton EPD Aux
