Not sure what to say?

Dear Dave,
My Mom called me and told me about your Dad. Sorry to hear of your loss. Your Dad reminded me of my Grandfather. My Grandfather operated the grocery store on the corner of Elm & Pringle. Both Polish, hard workers and well respected men.
Dave, do you live in Grand Ledge? I hear some good things about a Dave Szczesny from Grand Ledge. Would live to chat with you some time and catch up on our lives. I still can remember running the flea flicker pass with you speeding...

Elaine,

Just received the notice that your Dad had passed away. So very sorry to hear that news. The girls had sent information last week following your birthday dinner that He was near the end of His life and soon to join your Mom. I remember coming to your home in high school, your Mom and Dad always welcomed your friends with open arms. I now wonder just how they put up with all of us, you were very lucky to have such wonderful Parents.

Please know that you and...

To the family, you are in prayers. I remember so well the daily trips to the store to by candy and if I had enough change, I would get a coke and a bag of potatoe chips. David is my dentist, so we would always ask about our parent. (both deceased) I pray for your strength.
Your Dad was a very kind man. I think he was the last of the elders in the neighborhood of Gorham, Pringle, and Tomlinson Streets.

Elaine and Family: It was a honor to know your father. He always had a smile on his face and a heart of gold. I very much enjoyed working with him and his friendship. He is truely a wonderful man. I'm blest to have known him. I know Ed is in a wonderful place now. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you. God Bless.

Dear Dave and Elaine,
Sorry to hear of your dad's passing, I do remember many visits with him and your mother at the store. I know he had a long and pleasent life.
Dave, it sure was great seeing you at the European Bakery last winter, please send me your email again, the one I tried did not work.

To the Szczesny family, our condolences to you,Eddie and Stella were our neighbors and they were two of the nicest people. We loved to visit their store every morning when they had it. They will be missed.

My condolences to the Szczesney Family. My memories of Mr. Szczesney go back to being a young man attending St.Stan's and walking home stopping by the store to buy candy. He was very nice to my brothers and I along with his wife. I hope the Good Lord takes care of him as he did to us as little children.

Szczesny family,
Your father was the kindest, gentlest man that we have ever known.Always friendly & caring. Jim use to bowl with Ed & we lived in the Polish/St. Stans neighborhood. Please accept our deepest sympathy.
