Not sure what to say?

Mr. Taudel had his hands full with me at Kiley Jr High. He was a nice man and never told me no about giving me a meal ticket when I was starving even though I owed for other meal tickets.

I was a student at Kiley and he was my Science teacher. I had the biggest crush on him. Then he worked at a fruit stand in East Longmeadow and I went almost daily to see him. Then he in later years I saw him again buying a car and it made my day to see him. Every time I bumped into him at the grocery store we would have a big talk. He was the best of the best! The nicest man that I ever knew and a great role model. My deepest condolences.

Dear Dawn, Gary and Family,
I am sad to hear of Ed's passing. He certainly made a tremendous mark on my life and on the lives of countless others. We worked together from 1970 until he retired. I will always remember his commitment to helping children and to always doing the right thing. Of course, there were many fun times as well: parties, bowling, golf, Red Sox, Pats, etc. (Many stories and tall tales!)

Ed and Nancy are back together again in heaven. Please accept...

Gary, Dawn and Taudel Family - Please accept our sympathies for your loss of Uncle Edge. We will always remember, when seeing him, he always had a big smile and a great conversation. We apologize for not being at the service but you all will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Gary and Family,
I am so very sorry for the loss of your dad. You always spoke so highly and proud of him, as you both were so very close. I remember you both shared a hobby...tinkering and restoring your classic Corvette. My heartfelt thoughts are with you.

Ed was one of my Assistant Principals at Kiley Middle School who welcomed me in as a 22 year old kid right out of college to my first teaching assignment. Ed was a strong administrator, a great disciplinarian, well respected, and just a great individual. I got to see his humorous side at Wednesday night bowling and our many faculty parties At the PAV. Ed, and the rest of the administration, were the reason I stayed as long as I did in Springfield. I will cherish my memories of him and my...
