Ed was such a gentle, kind and caring person who loved his wife Carmen and family very, very much.

I will miss my Uncle Stuart. He was a smart, kind, loving family member. A great loss to us, a great addition to heaven. My love to my Aunt Carmen and cousins Ed and Deborah, Elaine and Eliot.

I am so sorry to hear about Ed, your husband, father, grandfather and brother.
What a wonderful man and I cherish all the memories I have had in knowing him. The ROCK of your family and how he loved all of you so much.

Ed was a wonderful man and a great structural engineer. I remember many of his stories and experiences on the DL&W, EL, Conrail and NJ Transit. He was the true Professional Engineer. My wife and I will miss him. Our hearts and sympathy are with the Thoden family.

Stu always had a smile and kindness to share with people. We will miss the chats with you and we will always remember the countless stories you shared with us. Most of all, the over whelming kindness you showed to my parents. Our thoughts and prayers for comfort to Carmen and your family, may you find comfort thru each other in this time of loss.
