My father spent time at Maryville's short term rehab earlier this year. After being there for a couple of months, I told my dad that he needed to get out of his room and socialize more, get to know the other residents. So my dad and I met Tom Thompson in the dining area. My dad couldn't carry on too much conversation, but I know that he thought Tom was quite a character. I enjoyed every opportunity to speak to this wonderful man, Tom, and learn about the history of his life and the history...

Our paths crossed a few times in the seventies in Beaverton. We knew some common friends. I moved to Laurel Parc in 2016 and got to know Tommy very well. He was really a swell guy and we enjoyed his company at our dinner table each evening.
My heartfelt prayers and thoughts go out to Tommy and his family.
