Edward A. Thore

I went to Ed's birthday party,it was a memorable event.I think everyone there knew it would be his last.He was very happy that so many people cared.I used to go visit Ed and take my dog Cookie.I live about a mile from the home he was in so we walked there.BY the time we got there Cookie would be tired and lay by Ed's feet he always petted her and talked to her.I will miss my walks to see Ed and I know Cookie will too.We are both very sorry to see him go but I know he is in God's hands now.

Ed was a very good friend to me when I lived in Petersburg.I moved away and we stayed in touch he used to send me some very nice cards and I will miss getting his cards in the mail.May God Bless his family in this time of sorrow.
