My heartfelt sorrow is with all of you as you go through this tough time. What a loss! I want everyone to live forever, and particularly wish it could have been for Ed. No visit to your home was complete w/o a big welcome and a tour of the great gardens. It was a pleasure knowing Ed.

Virginia, I remember fondly my high school years at your house. All the nights spent at church with you and Ed as part of my family are the solid foundations of my childhood. I will always remember Ed for how kind he was to me - I never felt uncomfortable around him. When I saw you folks in later years he was just as accomodating and interested in how my family was doing.
