Not sure what to say?

To the family of Edward Transue,
Ed was a very good friend while we were teaching at West Side Tech. I remember that he was a great man. My sympathy to all whose lives he touched.

To the family of Edward Transue~
Our family condolences go out to you and yours at this time. Although of late I knew of his activities very little, I recall his efforts to lead and guide hundreds of young men in scouting, and in life. He always tried to do his best - in this time of the world that is hugely impressive!

We were saddened to learn of Ed's passing only hearing recently that he was in Hospice care. Being neighbors, Ed would stop by often to visit on his tractor or riding his motorcycle. I was glad to see him this past fall at the farmer's market in Dallas. The sound of his John Deere running in his fields on many a night was always a welcoming sound. Ed was a very kind man. We have a bottle of wine he made from his own vineyard of currants that he so graciously brought to us. We will drink it...

Very sad to hear of this. I met Ed when I was in high school at West Side Tech. He and I always got along really well. We would talk about hunting, building things, camping or his passion, farming. He always wanted to be a farmer! Once I graduated it was several years until we re-connected. A few years ago I was at the Wyoming Farmers Market and wouldn't you know there's Ed. I remember walking over to his stand, he looked at me and said "Jon I'm finally a farmer"! It was great to hear...

Sincere condolences to Ed' family. He was in my graduating class at FFHS and I have fond memories of his gentle spirit and strength of character. I will continue to pray for peace and comfort for his family that only comes from our Lord Jesus.
