Edward Tuohy Passed away March 23, 2015. I want you to know what kind of man my father was. Edward Tuohy lived 72 years, was a husband for 43, and a father for 28. He led by example in all he did. He was a master pilot, a careful mechanic, and a steward of nature. Born in Canada, he became a...

Not sure what to say?

My sympathy and condolences to Edward's family and friends, may he rest in peace. I've never had the pleasure of meeting Edward but I have met a number of bush pilots over the years; from Maine to Manitoba to Alaska to Fiji. They're men and women who are truly a breed apart, the embodiment of the pioneer out on what remains of the frontier. Maureen and Andrew, I am so very sorry to hear of Ed's passing. I feel so very fortunate to have had the opportunity to know him, you and Andrew! Ed was a very special man who helped so many and was widely respected in the aviation field, truly an expert! Our prayers and thoughts are with you and Andrew at this time!

Maureen and Andrew, we share your sadness in Ed's passing. He was a fine neighbor and friend to us, and we delighted in hearing him tell about your travels together and your cabin in Alaska. Andrew's beautifully written tribute to Ed told us much we didn't know about Ed's early adventures around the world. He lived life full out, and was an inspiration to us all.

We will truly miss Edward Francis Tuohy. He loved the water and fishing and having moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona we were fortunate to have had Edward and the rest of the family here to visit. We had a few boat rides and most recently a fishing trip with his brother Robert, as luck would have it a large mouth bass was caught and released. The two brothers were very happy to have had that time together. Thanks for all the memories Edward ❤

I'll miss you my brother. Thanks for all the good memories.

Beautifully said. I am so sorry for your loss. You're in my prayers

Maureen & Andrew, so sorry to read of your loss. I know the 3 of you were a close knit family. I also know know you have many many lifes adventures to keep Edward alive in your memories. Our thoughts are with you

I knew Ed through Boy Scouts. You can see he was great father by his son, who is a fine young man.
