Not sure what to say?

I had the privilege of knowing Ed when he was the "Gourmet" at Shuffleton's. He was not only my boss, but my mentor and friend. Little did I know I would remain in F&B for more than thirty years after that. I can tell you honestly that I still tell stories about him, Ralph, Jerry and the fantastic team we had and of course the food.
Annie you were the star in the sky for your Dad. Alexie and Julie your stars had just formed. Laura what fond memories I have of you and our Shuff...

I only met Ed about one year ago when he decided to share office space in our firm. I found him to be fun, kind, smart and, most of all, a tireless warrior, daily fighting very debilitating conditions. He never complained. I only hope I would be as proud a battler in similar circumstances. We made tentative plans to go to Saratoga this summer since we both shared a love of thoroughbreds. Even-though I only knew Ed a short time, I will always remember him with great fondness and pride.

Dear Vlosky Family,

My recollections of Ed are mainly from "back in the day," when Ed and Michael lived in the Bronx with Aunt Anna and Julius, his beloved brother and parents.
Of course, I also remember spending some time with the Vlosky's, Stein's and Schoor's in their Catskill summer retreat.

I am sorry to have missed out on sharing in Ed's adult life. Most of what I know of that period I heard from Irwin and Barry.

When I met Ed at Schoor family...

Ed with his other mother and siblings

Although his last name was Vlosky and mine, Schorr...it did not matter. He was my little brother, well, perhaps not so little. His mom was my mom, my mom was his. His brother was my brother, my brother and sisters were his. That is just the way it was. Annie, Julie, Alexia, and both Amy's will always be part of this family. We all swim in the same gene pool. Ed is missed terribly.....

To all the Vloskys,

I felt as though I was Ed's college roommate almost as much as he was Peter's -he helped hide me when Dick's parents came to visit, he cooked innumerable wonderful meals for me, (including the rubber stopper in Ed Garrison's pancakes)and he was a loving caring and sweet man. He was the only friend who attended my college graduation! I miss him dearly, and am so happy to be able to keep his memory alive through all of you.

Annie, Lexi & Julie:
Your father was an extremely complicated and multi-faceted individual. However, an underlying thread in everything that made Ed "Ed," was his love for you girls. He was so very proud of all of you and you meant the world to him. You should take some small comfort in knowing that regardless of where you were, or what you were doing, you were always in Ed’s heart. In the many years that I worked with him – that was a constant – you came first (or right up there...

Annie, Alexia and Julie --

I had the pleasure working with your father and saw how much he loved you. He adored you and loved being involved in your lives. I'm so sorry for your loss of a truly good hearted wonderful father.

Ed, Robby, Alexia and Julie

I met the boy that was Ed Vlosky forty-four years ago. He was smart, fun and caring. We lived and worked together through college and the bond we had was unique.

I had the pleasure of sharing so many of our life experiences-- holidays and vacations, weddings, births and Bar Mitzvahs... and funerals...the good and bad life presented.

He was the brother I never had and his friendship will always be cherished.

Those of you who were lucky enough to spend time...
