The fact that we cannot see our loved ones or communicate with them after their transformation, which we call death, is not proof that they cease to exist. They will always be with us and live in our hearts forever.

I was saddened to hear of Ed ’s death.

Ed was a student at Albert Grice where I was fortunate to work with him as teacher and a coach.

As a young man Ed lead by example. He always gave his best at all he did as a student, athlete and citizen. Ed was a role model for all of us! He made our world a better place and he made all of us who got to know him better people.

I will never forget the twinkle of his eyes nor his grin.

To the Vogler Family

Please accept my deepest sympathy on your loss. I was a teammate of Ed's on the Hamilton High Football Team. He was a class act both on and off the gridiron. He set a great example for his teammates to emulate.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Carlton F. Holbig Jr. (1969)

Eileen, Jenny, Kristen and Laura,

My deepest sympathy goes out to you. Ed was a great brother. As the younger one, he was a hard act to follow. He always had a positive outlook on life, a trait that affected the lives of many other people. I was always very proud of Ed and his many accomplishments. I hope as he looks down from the heavens he will be proud of all of us as well.

Ed was a loving brother, brother-in-law, son, husband, father, uncle and friend.

To All of the Vogler Family:

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you. A cousin I haven't seen in years but remember as "Big Brother Ed," and wiser and smarter than the rest of us.

Sometimes through the years, when a plane flew overhead, I would look up and think about him in awe. And on 9/11, I waited to hear news that he wasn't flying one of the planes.

When my fourth son was in elementary school, as a project, he was required to correspond with...

To the Vogler Family,
We send our sincere sympathies to all of you. Ed was a wonderful person and we loved him dearly. We had many good times with him during his High School years. He was a great friend to my children: Nancy, Doris and Johnny. May God give you strength in this time of sorrow.

Thelma Benton, Nancy Majofsky, Doris Shaedle & John Benton, Jr.

With deepest sympathy to you and your family. I have known Ed since he was very young. He was a fine young man that we were all proud to have known. He will be missed by all.

Dear Aunt Eileen , Kristen , Jennifer and Laura. Words cannot desribe the amount of empathy I have for each of you . As the oldest nephew I certainly have many vivid memmories of my " Uncle Ed ". His positive attitude , sense of humor , tenacity and strength stand out as but a few . " Uncle Eddie " always was and continues to be a very big role model in my life . Even now , more than ever , he inspires me to reach even farther within myself in order to grasp the things I desire in life...
