Not sure what to say?

Ed was a wonderful guy. I miss him.

Ed was a very interesting to talk to. He was well versed in many subjects and helped me become better informed on may subjects. We both enjoyed playing tennis and spent many enjoyable hours out on the tennis court together. I miss him.

Ted was instrumental in hiring me to the University at Buffalo faculty in 1968. I had many good conversations with him and always found his input valuable.

I consider myself lucky to call this man my Grandpa. He was the most interesting, intelligent and inspiring man I know I will ever meet in my entire life. From his stories of his fishing endeavors to teaching my daughter math equations, I enjoyed every story he told. Of course I wish I had more time with him. But I am very grateful for the time I did have. There is no doubt that I will miss him forever.

Ted was a brilliant , kind , inspiring man who contributed so much to the education, development and happiness of so many in
our world. A smile crosses my face when I think
of his sense of humor and curiosity; fascinating conversations, various interests and numerous accomplishments. You can see by the twinkle in his eyes and sparkle in his smile that he enjoyed life. We cherish and celebrate a life so well lived always and cherish a loving spirit who will be so missed .

My condolences to Mary Ann . Ted was a very intelligent , friendly individual, who was well versed in many subjects. I enjoyed our conversations about politics, science, sports, etc. He and I enjoyed playing tennis, as well as other activities. He had a long and productive life. May he rest in peace.

My condolences to the family. I know Ted was a great influence and friend to my father, Bob Zimmer was back since Buffalo.

Ted was truly an immense contributor to our nation and the world, in the fields of education, health, science, business, technology and safety. On top of that, he was a talented artist and conversationalist. (And I seem to remember he was quite the tennis player as well! But to be honest, his ability to cook perfect wings on the grill was the talent my taste buds appreciated the most!) It is sad to see such an inspiring, talented individual depart, but his legacy will live on through not only...

I got to know Ted late in his life during our Spring visits to Florida. Because he was interested in -and knowledgeable about -
so many things, he was a very interesting person to be around. We spent a number of hours trying to solve the world's problems - pleasant memories I'll keep for a long time. Joe Bertola
