Not sure what to say?

Ed was a great teacher and clinician, but most, he was a wonderful human being. As a teaching colleague, he was the best and when he cared for my mother and our family we will never forget his caring, understanding and kindness. He is truly missed.

Dr. Arlene Weinshelbaum and family,
I was very honored to have worked with Dr.Weinshelbaum.He was the best employer I ever worked with. I was his nurse when he started his pactice. At the time we talked about me going to to work for him, he said he was not sure he would make it, as he had never been in private practice. I had worked with him in the V.A. and told him I felt sure he would do well, as I had seen how patients had responded to him. He was the the most thoughtful and...

Dear Dr Weinshelbaum,
I was saddened to hear of the tragic accident of your husband. He was a very kind man.
I know he was from Chicago as am I.
I have been a patient of yours for many years and also an employee of HCA. I have been with NFRMC for 15 years. Your husband was kind enough to come to my brothers house, Mike Banks, when my father passed away. I remember his kindness then and yours always.
Take Care.
Sincerely,
Toby Walden

Dear Arlene and family,
I was so sorry to hear of Ed's death. I have so many memories of his delightful sense of humor and remarkable equanimity under the most stressful of circumstances. He was a superb physician and a wonderful human being, and we and our patients were blessed in having him as a colleague.
With loving sympathy -

my deepest sympathy to your family

Dear Karen and family,
I have been so saddened to hear of the loss of your father and husband. I have many fond memories of spending time in your house as a child. I remember Dr. Weinshelbaum as a kind and patient man. I know he will be sorely missed. My deepest sympathy to you all.

Dear Dr. Weinshelbaum,
Yesterday, after being away for two weeks, while out walking with Boris and Sarah Stein I found out about your husband's death . I did not know your husband, but he must have been really nice if he was married to you. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Best regards,
Sue McCurdy

Dr. Arlene and family: I can hear Dr. Ed saying "Rita, just send her over, I will take care of her". A man of heart and compassion who on several occasions CARED for patients of mine who had limited financial resources. He provided them the very best of medical care. On return to my office they would extol his compassionate manner and the confidence they felt with him as their physician.
I will miss him greatly. The medical community must rise to the occasion in attempts to fill the...

Dear Dr Arlene and family,
It has been over twenty years since you all became part of my family. Our relationship began when my mother Pat became Dr. Edwards nurse. Through the years you and he have treated so many members of our extended family that the list could go on forever. Some of the most traumatic were when my mother, sister and grandmother-in-law were diagnosed and treated for breast cancer Dr. Edward and you were there to guide us through some of the darkest hours we have ever...
