Edward A. West

So very sorry to hear of Ed's death. He was significantly and uniquely influential in my life as a teacher, an administrator, and most of all as a person. He was the leader who provided me with numerable opportunities to learn, grow, and advance up the educational/professional ladder. A great and memorable mentor, with a fun side. Thinking fondly of "nickel toss up" at lunchtime in the faculty room of the old Parkrose High School building.

Please accept our deepest condolences on Ed's passing. He was a cherished volunteer in the emergency department at Legacy Mt. Hood Medical Center and we all enjoyed his friendship. He worked on Tuesdays as I did and I always enjoyed our visits. Judy Bond, volunteer office

Ed West had the single biggest influence on my 31-year teaching career in the Parkrose School District of any single individual. I am so glad I stopped by his house recently to visit! He was still sharp, remembering many events in our work together. Memory Eternal!
