Not sure what to say?

Horsey, think about you & all the good times often. Sammie Douan

To Jean & the entire Westendorff family. Eddie was my good buddy & friend since I first met him in 1956. I remember riding with him & Curly Cromer in his brand new BLACK 1956 OLDSMOBILE CONVERTIBLE. All who knew him remember his always ready smile. We will all miss him, rest in peace HORSEY.

Eddie, though I never knew you, I shall pray for your family to be comforted and blessed with peace from our heavenly Father.

Please accept our deepest sympathy on the passing of your loved one. Your family is in our thoughts and in our prayers. Mayor Minnie Newman and Hanahan City Council: Jeff Chandler, Joel Hodges, Christie Rainwater, Dan Owen, Mike Dyson and Michael Sally.

JW and I would like to send Ms. Jean and the family our deepest sympathy and know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers. Mr. Eddie wasn't just JW's employer but also his good friend and mentor. Like a father to JW.

Eddie made a huge impact on this somewhat younger first cousin. His return from naval service with his slicked back hair, quick smile, and engaging personality quickly made him a "man about town" that I wanted to emulate. Shortly after graduation, I enlisted in the USAF only because the Navy slots were closed for months. I am sadden that I never took the time to tell him what an impact he had on me. God speed, Eddie!
