Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Eddie´s death at class reunion. He was a great friend and have precious memories of the family. My condolences to his family.

I just saw where Eddie passed away. I had no idea. I have not seen Eddie in many years. Most of our memories we made when we both were kids. His Dad, Nick was one of my Dad's favorite nephews. I always enjoyed the times we went to their home, playing with Eddie, Judy and Mike. May God please give comfort and peace to all of Eddie's family

Dearest Whitfield Family; I am very sorry to hear of Eddie's passing. I knew Eddie on a professional and personal level. I worked with him several years at Cone Mills and he dated my sister for a while. He was a very funny guy that loved his girls above anything else. I know he will be terribly missed. I shall pray for peace to your family. God Bless You!

I unfortunately will not be able to attend Saturday. I have many fond memories of Eddie. He will be missed. Semper Fidelis my brother.

So sorry to hear of Eddie´s passing. Eddie was my second cousin. Our grandmothers, Adelle and Hattie were sisters. I haven´t seen Eddie in years. When we were young, he was one of the most fun people to be around. He always had something going on and could always make us laugh. He attended 16th Street Baptist Church and played softball on our guy´s team with my husband; my father being their coach. He is now with Nick and Dot and I´m sure it was a grand reunion. I know he will be missed....

Only knew Eddie for a short time but enjoyed his candor and energy. He truly was proud of his daughters and had great love for his family. May he rest easy in God´s loving arms. To his family, very sorry for your loss.

It is so hard to believe that Eddie is gone. May the lord bless the family the lord is always with them they are not alone.

We offer our sincere condolences to Eddies family. We have such fond memories of Eddie and the beautiful 3 little girls. Our prayers go out to each one of you.

Great man, great neighbor, will be greatly missed. Thank you and RIP my friend.
