Marie and Ed's Family...You don't know me,but I have the happiest memories of Ed. He,his brother Jim, our pal Jim Gleeson, and I, shared many a lively and interesting conversation over lunch in the Reynolds Club Coffee Shop at the University of Chicago when we were all students there 1n the late '40s and early '50s. Ed was always friendly, understanding, a man of real humanity, integrity, and tenacity. I first met him when he came directly to the Christmas Concert of De La Salle High School...

Marie, my heart is full of sorry for you and the family. Know that you are all in my prayers.

Such a wonderful, compassionate human being. He was our family doctor until he retired his practice. He touched so any lives in a good way. God bless your family.
