Not sure what to say?

My Dear Toni.

My heart goes out to you and to all the family at this time. i wish I could have been there in person, for Ed's service, to give you a hug. But know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Ed was always a true "gentleman", and a friend who George held in the highest regard. I am sure that they are "up there" now, sharing the latest on the joys of the liquor business and catching up on all that has transpired since George left.

You...

Toni and family, I will always remember Ed as the gentleman salesman and friend. I worked part time for Young's Market, and Ed treated me as family. One Christmas he gave me a ornament, that Toni had made. I aways think of him when I put that ornament on the tree and next year it will mean even more. Thank you Ed for the Good Times and thank you to your family for sharing him. Love Jake Isola

Dear Toni and Bob Accornero,

I don't know if you remember me, I had the pleasure of working with Ed at Young's Market 14 years ago. I have recently retired and relocated to Arizona.

I am truly sorry for your loss. Ed was one of the nicest persons I have ever had the pleasure to know and work with. He was a true gentleman and gentle-man, respected by all who knew him. When you think of Ed Winter, you think hard working, kind, sweet, sincere and a genuinely NICE...

While many miles away, I thought alot about Ed and his quiet strength this week. He was always a gentleman with nary a mean word about anyone (we all know how brutal salespeople can be too). Knowing Ed, he bore his illness bravely and with dignity. I picture him dressed nattily in the heavens....

Sorry to lose you Ed. Good memories of a good man. Steve White

Toni,

I was so sorry to read about Ed's passing. Having moved to Red Bluff several years ago I was unaware of his illness. You have my deepest sympathy.

Dan and Toni -

Here are four things that I remember about my second Dad, Ed.

The heckling I use to get when I was a 49ers fan in the 70's. With his deep voice he would always say "Go Raiders!"
When Dan and I use to pounce on him like the scenes from the Pink Panther (Inspector Cluesoe fighting with Kato).
Going on on several camping trips especially with the Indian guides. Ed and Dan would always make the best looking boat or racecar, but one year...

You all know how much I will miss Eddie - he was one of my best friends and someone I counted on to always be there for me and my family. We will remember the many good times and happy events that we shared through the years. He will never be forgotten. With love, Jacquie

Toni,
Having been at this site over and over, trying to find the words to say, but know that you and Ed heard them from us already..... I'm happy that I was a co-worker of Ed. He was a special kind person, True gentleman.Thinking of you during this time...
Sincerely
Celia & Vincent Marcellino
