The greatest man I ever knew. Ed was my most trusted and beloved mentor. In an age where the words hero, courage, and intellectual giant are cheaped by overuse, he exhibited all three authentically. Ed taught me lessons and gave me advice that changed my life and I still call to mind every day. He was a true character and a loving human being. God rest his soul and bless his memory.
