He was always helpful to all staff and always smiling. It was a pleasure to work with him. One memory that sticks with me of...

Dear Tish,
I was truly sorry to learn of your loss, you and Ed were so close. You were a great team and certainly made the most of your life together. Peace be with you.

Hello,
I am an architect in Raleigh and had the opportunity to work with Ed about ten years ago on transportation design projects for the Triangle Transit Authority and the City of Raleigh. I remember him as a great collaborator who taught me a lot about transportation design and, more importantly, he showed everybody how to be a nice guy. He will be missed.

Tish, you have many friends in the League of Women Voters in Louisville who send you are sympathy. Dot Ridings is back in Louisville and active in League; Beverly Moore just finished two years as president, and I am now president. Our sincere sympathy. Pat Murrell

Dear Tish and family,
I was very sorry to read of Ed's passing in the C-J. He was a wonderful man. Together you and he not only produced a fine family but contributed much to Louisville and your other communities.
Thinking of you all during this sad time.

Ed was so helpful to me during the time we both were at the Planning Commission. Land use planning was made so much better because of him.
