Ascension (for Edward J. Wright)
by Vincent Robinson

from Rantowles
to the corners of the globe
is a path left
by a man who dared to walk
where angels tread

one
raised by the village
only to leave

that lives on

his legacy is testimony
of a life filled with the power

A Tribute to My Daddy

I stand before you today on behalf of my sisters and brother to tell you about Ed Wright the father as EJ referred to him and daddy as Maryann, Sharon and I called him. But regardless of what name we called him, granddaddy, great granddaddy, brother in law, uncle, or cousin he was our hero. He exemplified wisdom, love, humbleness, patience, and fairness.

As our father, Daddy believed in each one of us and was always a safety net in our time of need....

Chief Wright, Brother Edward, family, I am truly blessed to have read this story of a life well lived and so honorable, giving honor and all glory to God. One of America's true heroes. Condolences to family on your recent losses and Heaven's gains.

An accomplished man...You should be very proud of him..He now reports to the Commander in Chief of all people..Prayers of comfort

A full life for this Veteran and Mason, RIP!

A true trail blazer. Rest in Peace Chief, we have the watch.
