Ed was part of the remarkable family of OCTF - a great mentor and colleague - my deepest condolences.

My heartfelt condolences to the Wright family. Ed was a great mentor to me at OCTF. I enjoyed hearing the stories of his time with the NYPD. The `team meetings´ out in Orient were wonderful times with your mother too. I´m sure they are together again. I will keep them in my prayers.

Ed Wright was the finest gentlemen I ever had the pleasure to work with. He was a friend and a mentor, and I owe a lot of my success in law enforcement to working alongside him at the Organized Crime Task Force (OCTF). The most notable case we worked on together was John Gotti. Gotti’s conversations intercepted on OCTF tapes under Eddie’s leadership were used as evidence to help convict him.
