I was so sorry to her about Ed's passing. I met Ed when I was 18 when my Mom, Lillian Abrell, first started working at the fisheries lab. I was later privileged to be a secretary at the fisheries lab in Eustis. Ed was a positive role model and mentor. I always looked up to him. He will be missed.

As one of his many Florida Fish Head friends, I extend my deepest sympathy to his family and army of admirers and friends. Edward had qualities that all of us admired and wished for ourselves.
