Uncle Eddie was a gentle, thoughtful and wise man. He was in awe of my father, his older brother John who teased him relentlessly! It was obvious to us that Dad was so very proud of him. Brother Edward taught me a lot about nature, about the nature of studying, and about the study of service to others. I must attribute any "A" I got in biology class to him!
