Not sure what to say?

One year ago today you left this life, and it seems like yesterday. Your death has forever changed my life. Now I know what is really important and what passes away.

My belated condolences. I had the pleasure of working with Ms. Gediman at her first job as an attorney, and she was a delight to work with. I hadn't seen her since I attended her wedding up in Cambria, but I'm not at all surprised she went back to her alma mater and became a professor.

My condolences to the family of Professor Hamblet. She was a great professor at Mount St. Mary's College. She will truly be missed.

I had the opportunity to take Professor Hamblet at Mount St. Mary's College. She was a sweet person. My condolences to the family, especially her sons.

Eddi was a great and very strong mother, despite her physical wicknesses she was always there for her kids. I used to see her mostly at the pick up time, parking her car far, she'll walk to get her kids, taking every chance to talk to them while walking with them to the car.....
Now her soul is watching her kids, taking care of them in a different special way....
May her soul rest in peace.....May God bless her husband, kids and family with courage & patience....
May Our...

The countless hours I spent volunteering with Eddi since our kids were in preschool have turned into cherished memories. Her confidence, intelligence, radiant smile, strength and ability to laugh at just about anything made her the amazing woman we will all remember. Sure wish I could have another cup of coffee with her. God bless her equally incredible family.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Eddi for about 8 years. We were put serendipitously together in a number of situations. Although I am a healthcare provider, it was always Eddi that helped me, not the other way around. When I had surgery and awaited my biopsy results, she told me “Well you are alive right now...and so am I.” When she was ill she kept right on going... fully immersed in her work at the school, her family, and her profession. She was always ready to give me insight into...

It is amazing to me to sit here and read all of the comments on Edwiges...I knew her from the 2nd grade when we became friends at St Mel's...when we attended as students....and according to everyone who was active in her life, she never changed...brilliant, sweet, humble, and always smiling! Sometimes the memory of the tiniest flower that we pass by in the warmth of a summer day can save us from the harshest winters eve. Edwiges, you were that tiny flower for many!

Eddi was a parent and head-room-mom in my classroom. Her strength was a calming force in an otherwise hectic place. She had a ready smile and an immediate "yes" to any requests. Because of her Bay and Dashielle were such happy kindergarteners in my class. A dedicated and loving mom now watches over them from up above. Many faces come and go through these classroom doors, Eddi's will never be forgotten.
