Not sure what to say?

I knew Ed at Bell Labs and remember him well as one of outstanding goodwill, kind demeanor and wisdom in all settings. I was unaware of the many other exceptional details of his life mentioned here. A man of the “Greatest Generation” indeed and a model for any. May God rest his soul in Perfect Peace.

H. Allan Simpson

Ed was such a kind and considerate person, with a sense of humor and lots of wisdom. I will miss him ever so much. I know he is with Nome and at peace.

We enjoyed knowing Naomi and Ed. We enjoyed following Naomi's activities at the Allentown Art Museum. Ed always amazed us with his energy and interest in learning new things.

Laura, Matt, and Jamie, keep the good memories of your parents to share with your children.

I have many fond memories of Ed and Naomi from working in the hair salon at Luther Crest. Ed was a kind man and will be missed.

My deepest sympathies to the family. I am a cook at Luther Crest and I served Naomi when she came down to MSU. She was a wonderful women. I got to know your dad, many days he came to sit and eat with her. He was always so attentive to her. I had admired them as truly a very special couple
Then Ed came to MSU. I so enjoyed talking with him.
Such an amazing person. I am so honored to have served both of these incredible people. Cherish your wonderful memories.

I was so very sorry to read of Ed’s passing today. I have very fond memories of Ed when he volunteered in the medical library of Lehigh Valley Hospital when I managed the volunteer program there. After my retirement, I visited with he and Naomi when they paid a visit to my neighbors, the Murphy’s in Mertztown. We shared a love of old farm houses. My sincerest sympathy to your family at this time.

Thank you for your service to our country. Rest In Peace.
