Dear Marge and children,

I am sorry to hear about Ed. I remember your family very well from the days on 84th Street. I admired your family a lot. I would go to visit the Stegmillers next door and I thought it was "neat" that Di babysat for grandchildren of Catherine Andres, my grandmother's best friend. I know that you will miss Ed greatly. I will keep you all in my prayers.

Dear Marge and Family,
Joe and I are saddened by the news of Ed's death but know that he is now with our Lord in Heaven. His days of suffering are over. He was such a special man and a wonderful friend to all our family. We share so many wondeful memories of all the fun times are families shared together. He was always there when anyone needed anything.
