Not sure what to say?

I worked for Ed at the North Berg Bar in Columbus on the Ohio State campus in 1969 He helped me thru some very difficult times in my life. I have always been grateful. We lost contact in 1969 and I never saw or heard from him again! Glad he had a nice life. The world was a better place with him in it I know that. Rest in Peace my friend! Bob Carper OSU class of 1969.

i knew ed from lincoln tower @ ohio state where he lived in the suite next to mine.he was a good guy then.when i came to the merc 13 years later i was thrilled to reconnect.he was still a good guy..i am sorry to learn of his passing.

So very sorry Sue. Ed was a nice friend and...more importantly...a good man and a good person.

Mrs. Apel, Prayers for peace and comfort to you and the family! I will always remember Mr. Apel playing Patriotic Music loudly on the organ at your annual 4th of July parties! Always full of energy!!

Ed was great colleague with a great laugh, I'm glad I knew him. My condolences to his family.

So lucky to have known you all my life! Thank you for all the memories! From singing around the organ or tubing behind your boat, from Santa visits and Bomb Squad fireworks to pool parties and the best damn BBQ. The list goes on and on! I love you may you RIP.

Dear Suzi, From across the years and the miles, love and hugs to you. You and Ed were the lively spark in so many gatherings years ago that are still treasured memories today. I am so glad to know you both. With condolences...Ginny
