Not sure what to say?

Condolences to Ed's family. I remember as a gentleman, and for his fairness. Many years ago, when another director at EB tried to keep me from attending a weekly meeting because I was a woman, Ed stood up for me and ensured that I was allowed to participate.

I found Ed to be a very fair man when he was the director of the department I worked for at EB. As his first female supervisor working in the shipyard, he provided valuable support, without which I would have been unable to do my job. He was always a gentleman. Our best wishes to the family.

We are so saddened to hear of Ed's passing. We had the pleasure of being neighbors on Braman Road in Waterford for many years. And what a wonderful neighbor he was. Our children spent many hours sliding down their hill in the winter snow and swimming in their pool in the summer. We remember the good times we had playing UNO and enjoying meals together. Ed will always be in our memories. Our sincere sympathy goes out to Helen, Sheryl and Ron, Linda and Norm and their family. God bless you...

We enjoyed being neighbors of Ed and Helen in Scituate for over 16 years during which time I worked for Ed at the Quincy Shipyard. He was a great mentor, boss and friend. I always enjoyed hearing of Ed's stories about the Nebraska football team. Our thoughts and prayers are with Helen, Cheryl, Linda and family. With love,

We have lots of good memories of ED they go back to 1943 when I we first met in the service. God rest his soul. Rachel and I express our deepest sympathy to Helen and family
