Not sure what to say?

I was proud to call Ed my "Big Bro." He was a terrific brother whom I loved dearly and respected totally. His wife. Anna, and children, Jim, Sharon, and Eddie, remain close in my heart. I'll forever miss him and the counsel and advice he shared with me.

I lived one street away from Ed and Anne. Such a wonderful family. All the neighbors call Ed the Mayor. Always worked so hard on putting together names and adresses as well as kids names and birthdays in a booklet for all the neighbors. Always welcomed the kids in at Christmas to see his train displays. My prayers are with everyone who loved him.

Dear Anna and family, I sang with Ed in the St. Katharine Drexel choir as well as with the Cumberland Singers. He had a beautiful voice and was greatly missed when he was no longer able to join us. I was always deeply touched by his custom at the Sign of Peace to always walk to the edge of the choir loft, look for you in the congregation and then tenderly blow you a kiss. I am very sorry for your loss. His devotion to you spoke deeply of his love.

My sympathy to Eddie´s family. We shared a birthdate, I grew up with his youngest brother Clarke (1st thru 12th grades) and have remained close friend´s. Eddie had a beautiful voice as did his Dad John and Clarke. Loved attending concerts by the Cumberland Singers and hearing him. Kind and nice man. He will be missed by all who knew him. RIP Eddie, no more back pain. Mary (Clipp) Snyder

Dear Anna and family, Sending our condolences to you and your family. I remember you coming to your mom´s house. You both were so nice and always stopped to talk with my mom. Sure had good times in the alley. I bet he´s keeping Catherine, Richard and Tony in line up there. May God give you all strength during this difficult time. R I P Mr. Bitter.

Dear Anna and family. What a wonderful husband and dad you were fortunate to have. Anna, I still remember when our families would visit together here at Steelton. Yes, I remember when you introduced Ed to us, how much he and my mom liked each other. Love and Prayers to you all. Peter (sini) Grasa.

I work with Eddie back in 1975 at 30th street station. Glad he made it to 95. Sorry for your loss.
