Not sure what to say?

Thank you for your message and comments, Jim Wallace. Mr. Boles created special times and memories for so many of us.

I had the pleasure of attending Mr. Boles speech class and working on sets of his theater productions 1968-1970.What a great person.Jim Wallace

Edwin and his family traded at our country grocery south of Pine Bluff. Once, while he was working on his Master's degree, I rode home with him from Fayetteville. What a glorious experience we had as we discussed so many meaningful subjects. It made a profound influence on me and I often wondered where life led him. I am so happy to learn that he fulfilled his dreams.

Thinking about you, Adam, and am sorry that you're hurting. My Dad was about the same age, and probably went to UA about the same time as yours. He even lived a while in Pine Bluff. Its not unlikely they crossed paths.

Peace to you, my friend.

Kenny

Jim and I met Ed when he directed the play where we met at LCJCFRS. He meant so much to all of us and particularly to the forestry students. Ed introduced us to the Episcopal faith and was the godfather of our son Chester. Janice and Adam, he is greatly missed.

Ed Boles was most of the most influential people in my life. I will never forget the brilliant mind, the laugh, and his unwavering faith in his students. When I act or direct, I always dedicate my participation, "For EVB. to Sir, with love." Always will.

I have wonderful memories of Mr. Boles while attending Lake City Community College in 1970. He was a kind and gracious gentleman who loved his role in education and his students. I know he must have brought joy to many over the years. My deepest sympathy to his loved ones.

I met ED when in Lake City and was a student in his speech class. He also directed two plays I was in at LCJC. He was always friendly and willing to listen. It was a pleasure to know Ed.

Ed was a close friend and advisor to me during my teen and young adult years. He was understanding and compassionate; always treating people with respect and dignity. I will always remember and greatly value his friendship.
