Edwin Buford

Ed Buford's memory will be revered and
respected by his brothers of Theta Chi Fraternity at the University of North Texas.

Edwin Buford was a cheerful, wonderful man. We were privileged to provide caregivers to both Virgina and Edwin these past years - what an honor! He will be greatly missed by all of us at MyCare Personal Assistance.

I will always remember Eddie as a great
friend, classmate & neighbor. We grew
up together from Lida Hooe through Sunset & he lived on Wentworth & I was
the next street over, Sunset Ave. He
was like a brother to me during those
years & we had many talks, mostly about
our girlfriends & boyfriends. He was a
good listner & gave me a lot of good
advice. A really great guy! My love &
prayers are with all his family.

John and Barry, Jim Upfield clled me yesterday to inform me of Ed's passing. I worked for Ed for 30 years. As was his custom, we talked by phone every day and we became very close. We have been exchanging E mails for the last 6 years after our retirements. He said he was having a tough time without Virginia. He loved her very much. John & Barry, Just happen to see this and so sorry for your loss. We hated that we just now learned of Virginia also. So sad for us. So many good times we had together and of course Virginia and Betsy were so close. Pleased to read about the grandchildren. Hope that you have at least one John. Eddie and I were in the same class from Lida Hooe Grade School through Sunset High School. I knew him to be a fine person. I was glad to celebrate through reading his obituary his long and good life. May God bless his family.
