Not sure what to say?

It's a shock and so sad to hear of Ed's passing. Though I was working with him only for couple of months, I was touched by his intelligence, gentle and warmth. He'll be missed by all of his friends at IRS. My deepest sympathies and prayers to his family.

My heartfelt condolences to the family of Edwin. He was an intelligent, funny, and kind person whom I was lucky to work with during the latter part of his life. Even though he was feeling miserable, he would stop to chat and say hello. He was always there if I had a question about the work at hand! I am so sorry to hear of Edwin's passing. My heartfelt sympathies to his entire family. I hadn't seen Edwin since 6th grade but have fond memories of his antics in elementary school. I pray your own memories bring you some joy and comfort during this time.

I was so sad to hear of Ed's passing and am keeping ALL of the family in my prayers. If there is ever anything I can do, please let me know! Love to all! Madeline

Please accept my deepest sympathies. Edwin was my first love and I will always carry many fond memories of our time together. Unfortunately, I cannot come to the service on Monday due to my physical condition at this time. I want to pay my respects to Edwin, Dr and Mrs. Edwin Buster, Scott, Mary, and Edwin's wife and children. All of you and your extended family are in my thoughts and prayers during this impossible time. I was not aware of Edwin's illness and extremely shocked and...

Buster - you were an outstanding individual - and by all accounts a great husband and father. Your friendship will always be a value and I'll always remember you. Thank you for your selfless service to your country.
Your spirit, your loyalty, your intelligence, and your strength will be missed.
Those who have known you will never forget.
