Thank you for sharing Ed's obituary. As an old neighbour of his in Groton, I was sorry to hear he had passed. My sympathy to you for the loss of your father.

I grew up with Ed in Medford went to school together. I know his parents Mr. and Mrs. Chase and Pat very well. Ed got his humor from his parent, it was always a fun time at the Chases.
Visited them on Lake Winni many times and went out on the boat his father built in their basement, it was named DEEPSEA, D for Dot, E for Ed, E for Ed/James senior and P for Pat. Many memories on Collins road with the Chases. My favorite memory has to be when you folks bought the red boat and called it "IDGAS" and Mr Chase told me it was the Greek word for Sea, it wasn't until adulthood that I was told the truth! Ha ha! I also remember when we put on neighborhood "Carnivals for Dystrophy" and Mr Chase would let us use the family pool .
