I grew up with Ed in Medford went to school together. I know his parents Mr. and Mrs. Chase and Pat very well. Ed got his humor from his parent, it was always a fun time at the Chases.
Visited them on Lake Winni many times and went out on the boat his father built in their basement, it was named DEEPSEA, D for Dot, E for Ed, E for Ed/James senior and P for Pat. Also there was Freckells their dog. Also knew Marilyn, she also went to the same schools as we did. I have a picture of...

I also remember when we put on neighborhood "Carnivals for Dystrophy" and Mr Chase would let us use the family pool . So many other times he interacted with the kids on the street in a positive way, and my good buddy Jamie is a great example of his...

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. My favorite Mr. Chase memory is of him watering the sledding hill in your back yard. You were blessed to have had him as dad, husband and grandfather. Love Myra
