I will always carry the awesome memories of my Grandpa Deane. I have lived by his words of wisdom when I was young; #1) u r never too old to learn something new everyday of ur life. #2) No matter how much money a person may have, it can't never buy u love or happiness and if u have it, then live like a pauper & never let Greed take away ur giving heart... On April 8, 1976, my grandpa gave me a very special gift, it was an engraved gold heart locket with this date on one side and my new Initials DLD on the other side. That was the date that I was officially adopted to my dad Keith Deane. I don't know where it went over the years, but it meant the world to me. I have not seen any of the family in many years, however, my heart feels the loss of such a great and wise man. I will truly miss him even more now. My prayers to the rest of the family. I Do Love And Miss You All,

Shawn,
I have enjoyed every beautiful story you have shared about your dad. It saddened me when you walked in and informed me of his passing. My heart will always carry the memories of all the wonderful stories you have shared thru the years. With out meeting him but hearing from you he was a man of strength and determination. The love you have for him shows when you speak of him... He lived a full life surrounded by love. My prayers are with you and all your family.
