Mrs. Virginia, Barbara, and Marion,
Our entire town is heartbroken over Davis's tragic accident. I have so many memories of him from school days at Estill Elementary and crossing the street to Estill High School. After high school, Algie and I saw him much less often, but we always enjoyed visiting with him when he would return to Estill. Davey and I went through school together in Estill and were friends. So I have those school memories. I also remember spending an afternoon on a slip and slide with Davey when we were about 10 years old and of course the kindnesses of Mrs Virginia that day. It is hard for me to believe that he has crossed the Rubicon before me. Davey was solid and always willing to help. When we finished high school we went separate ways but I would see him occasionally.We were old friends. Godspeed...

So sorry to hear about my friend. He was always a stand up guy even in school. He always had a smile on his face and ready to help if he could. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
