Thank you for being a great grandfather to me and my brothers.

Thanks for introducing me to Miami and all of the great memories from the summer of 1996 at Flagler Beach and Martin's.

I love you and Aunt Rosaire and miss you.I will never forget the good times.

Ed has been an incredible and faithful friend to us. Although we only knew him for the last seven years, we were captivated by his wisdom, life experience and positive attitude towards life. Even during his last difficult months, Ed kept his sense of humor and showed a valuable lesson to be learned by many. A genuine gentleman, he will be missed dearly. Rest in Peace, dear Ed.

Ed has been a wonderful friend of ours for many years, and we will miss him so much. Ed has always been an interesting conversationalist and quite witty. We enjoyed pleasant chats with him in our visits to Flagler Pines. Imagine - even as we muddle through our everyday lives, Ed is now touching the face of God! Ed's love will stay with us.

Ed Downey you will be very missed here. But I know you will be joyously welcomed home. It was an honor too know you. Thank you for your wit, sarcasm and your knowledge of so many things. I've only known a few good, decent men in my life and you sir were one.
