I am so sorry for your loss. I did not know Mr. Edlund, but I am a neighbor and always looked for him to be watching out the front window. I referred to him as "my buddy". Reading about his amazing life, I don't think it was a coincidence that on Tuesday, I purchased my very first Bluebird box. I will certainly miss my buddy.

My condolences to the family. I worked with Ed and his brother Fritz, back in the late 50's and early 60's. Ed was a great guy and a lot of fun to work with . We worked for Harold Nelson Standard Oil Station.
