Not sure what to say?

He was my pastor, and a good friend of my parents. My sister and Linda, and Steven and me were friends. We visited with them and had fun, then the moved but news was always shared as to events between families. A true man of God, and I'm thankful for the time our faimiles grew in friendship.

I remember Pastor Ehlers as an eloquent preacher and a wonderful man. He confirmed me at St. Matthew Lutheran, Moorestown, NJ. I know he will be missed but he definitely had an impact on many lives. Thank you God for this life well lived.

Rev Ehlers married my husband a me in St. James Lutheran Church at Straw Church Circle,Phillipsburg, NJ. He was a lovely man and a fun person.

Dear Jane and family, so sorry to hear the news this morning about Ed's passing. Though you were at Trinity for a short time, your ministry was an important part of our history. I have thought of you often. Thoughts and prayers go out to you.

He was President of the NJ Synod when I was called to become the new Executive Director of LSS of NJ on...

God bless the Ehlers Family. Both Ed & Jane were long-time, faithful volunteers at the Rescue Mission. Ed will surely be missed and never forgotten! Rev. Anthony S. McMinn and Rev. Tim Jones, Hendersonville Rescue Mission, Hendersonville, NC

Linda, your Dad must have been a very special man to raise a wonderful daughter like you. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Jane,
My close friends, Linda, Steve, and Mark and extended families that have grown so large.
Hearing the news from Carol was sad. I'm sure it is hard for you all, and know that everyone is in my thoughts and prayers.
I hope the Lord will give him a job where he can work with kids who may not always be on the best behavior in church or Sunday school. Yet from all that he did for me, our family and for the lives of so many other people we give thanks for a man like him....
