Not sure what to say?

David, I am so sorry for the loss of your brother Eddie. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you my friend.

To family and all his friends,
May you remember all the good times you had with Eddie. He was such a positive person. His good friend Tom and I had a lot of fun times with Eddie. Surfing, 4- wheeling and fishing on the beach. There was a lot of laughing. Eddie could always tell a great story. He was a good friend. His wonderful smile will be missed. May his family and friends find peace in knowing that Eddie is on his own surf board catching some perfect waves having a great time with all...

Elba, Amy;I worked with Faoutino at the Hair Family and knew Eddie well. I am sorry for your loss. I am so surprised, he was always so lively and healthy when I was there. I now live in Atlanta and have for 18 yrs. Tina Johnson, is what you might remember. Again, I am so very sorry for your loss - I will light a candle for him with my prayers along with yours.

We are so sorry to hear about Eddie's passing. I have known him since I was in high school - he gave me perms for my big hair. He was full of energy and opinions and always lively to be around. His light on this earth will be missed. Our thoughts are with Amy and the family. With fond memories of one of life's characters,

I HAD THE PLEASURE OF KNOWING EDDIE FOR ABOUT 4 YRS NOW. WE MET AT "THE POST" BEEF O BRADYS. DESPITE BEING THERE FOR THE ODVIOUS, WE GOT TO KNOW EACHOTHER BY TALKING ABOUT COOKING AND FOOD. EDDIE WOULD OFTEN START THE DAYS HAPPY HOUR CONVERSATION OUT WITH "WHAT'S FOR DINNER". THEN AFTER OUR NORMAL EXCHANGE ABOUT HOW HE OR I WOULD COOK SOMETHING, HE WOULD STRUT HIMSELF DOWN TO OUR LOCAL PUBLIX TO PROCURE HIS EVENINGS COLLECTION OF COOKING MATERIALS THAT WOULD ALWAYS INCLUDE SOMETHING TO EAT IN...

Very sorry to hear of this loss to the Escalera family. Eddie and David were friends with my sons as they grew up together in Gainesville..He will be missed by all...

Our hearts are breaking. I told you we would come by for a hug and we never made it. You will be missed......RIP sweet Eddie
