I remember Dr. Everts because my medical challenges occurred during my twenties as I was facing the issues of growing up. He was a special man and physician who was always encouraging me to live in the mainstream never selling myself short. When I was saying I could never do something he was always there to provide encouragement. When my family was planning a trip to Europe we told ourselves I could never go. Dr. Everts was not only a terrific physician but a wonderful compassionate man. He brought me through some medical struggles in my early twenties and Ed will be missed by all.

Dear Everts Family - I am sorry to hear of your loss. Ed was a kind and good man. I am thinking of you at this difficult time.

A wonderful man, an excellent teacher, an inspiration, the source of my skills . I have Wonderful memories of a very great man who shared so much, an embodiment of greatness. He will be missed.

i woeked with Ed at OHSU in the OR for many years...always one of my favorites to work with. My condolences to his family.
