Edwin R. Fleming, 90, of Brick, died Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at the Chelsea at Brick. He was born in Clifton and graduated from Clifton High School. He graduated from Kings Point Merchant Marine Academy and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II as a Lieutenant. He lived in Rainbow Lakes for many years and worked as the VP of Sales for Elmco Distributing in Parsippany. He retired over 30 years ago and moved to Brick. He was a member of the American Legion in Denville, and the VFW and Elks in Brick. Edwin was an avid boater and a longtime member of the Seaside Park Yacht Club.

Edwin was predeceased by his wife, Florence in 2002. They were married for 58 years. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Paul Hessler of Marlton; a son and daughter-in-law, Gregory and Elizabeth Fleming of Cherry Hill; his sister, Judith Woxblom of Kamphe Lakes; and three grandchildren, Gillian Hessler, Taylor Hessler and Kristin Fleming.

A viewing will take place from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Monday, July 7, 2014, followed by a funeral service to begin at 12 noon at Weatherhead Young Funeral Home, 885 Mantoloking Road, Brick.
