Not sure what to say?

A good man. Selfless and kind; a warm welcome for all. One of a fine family. Our heartfelt condolences to Joanne and Janet, Loni, David, and all the Granais.

For years Ed & Joanne have been guests of mine here at the Tidewater Motel on Vinalhaven Island in Maine. I enjoyed their visits enormously. In particular I enjoyed Ed's early morning visits to the lobby to quiz me on some bit of island history, questions he'd clearly been ruminating over the night before. I'll certainly miss him.

So sorry to read this news. We were out of town and just got back and want to send our condolences to all the Granai Family. Ed was a great man and it was always a pleasure to bump in to him. Thoughts and prayers are with you. Ellen (Fitts) and Cliff Cooper

Matt,

So sorry to hear of you Dad's passing. Losing a loved one takes many years to come to understand and the pain will ease. Sounds like he was an awesome man and you were lucky to have him in your life. Love to you and Gary

We're so sorry to hear about your father Janet. Our prayers are with you and your whole family.

your dad sounds like a really nice man. Sorry, Matt and family, for your loss.

Dear Granai Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. I have fond memories of Ed he touched so many lives. May you find comfort in the days ahead with the memories that you shared.

Hope you find comfort in those memories in the days ahead.

Sincere sympathy to Joanne and family. Ed gave me my first job in Vermont at the new University Mall in 1979. He was the best boss anyone could ask for, always a gentleman, always generous with his time with visitors. Our thoughts are with his family.
